New York Fashion Week – Tempest In The Big Apple
For the many people involved in fashion, you may be wondering exactly what is New York fashion week? As it is, New York fashion week is a week long occasion that began on June 7th in the year 1993 and is supported currently by Olympus. About Me
I thought I’d make a this post with a few facts about me just so that everyone here knows who they’re working with! And I also want to let all my members know that I do have the qualifications to run a site like this.
I have a college degree. I attended the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising and received an AA in Fashion Merchandise Product Development. So that explains the fashion theme! And also my major covered business, financial planning, marketing, sales figures, etc. etc. etc., ad nauseum.
My dad is an accountant. Well, technically he ranks right below a CPA but he can do everything they do and then some. I grew up around what he does, and I worked with him building his the business that he owns and doing bookkeeping for three years.
I’m a professional blogger. Right now I’m in between contract jobs, but that’s been my career for about the past year.
I designed Luxe Loot. I made that background by hand, and all of the graphics using a few stock images. It was PAIN, but I saved $50 by only having Shift Code install my layout instead of designing it too (and an extra $50 for those drop down boxes…yikes!). I like things done my way and I’m pretty picky about that!
This isn’t my first GPT site. I was the co-owner of an ads only site called Mad4Ads.com. From that experience I learned to always go solo when it comes to business!
